La última vez que estuve en Zermat en verano, me negué a subir al glaciar con la cabina, por el precio. Entre todos, nos salía a 300 € el paseíto... una clavada, a la altura sólo de Suizos.
No me quiero imaginar, lo que costará ahora subir, con éste cacharro nuevo y que habrá que amortizar.
Curiosamente, es más caro subir en verano, que el forfait de invierno. Nunca lo he entendido, puesto que es sólo subir y bajar una vez...

Pues será, pero lógico... no es.
Además, para los turistas de verano, que pagan semejante pastizal, cuando llegan, pasan el túnel, y sí, muy bonito, pero ni un triste bar panorámico donde pasar un par de horas disfrutando de las vistas. Ya podrían, por ése precio, disponer de una cafetería con grandes vidrieras. A ver si ahora lo hacen, con ésta novedad. Que es mucgo dinero, para ir, verlo, y bajar...

No me quiero imaginar que valdría una cerveza allí arriba.

Zermatt Bergbahnen AG is planning to complete the world's highest 3S gondola lift by the 2018/19 winter season. The new lift to the Matterhorn glacier paradise (Klein Matterhorn) will be significantly quicker, and the modern cabins, designed by Pininfarina, will ensure the ride is more comfortable than ever. The 3S gondola lift made by LEITNER ropeways will complement the existing cableway and increase the carrying capacity to Europe's highest cable-car station by 2000 passengers per hour.
On the Trockener Steg to Matterhorn glacier paradise stretch a high-performance cableway of a quite special kind will be built over the next three summer seasons, with 100 working days per season. The 25 modern cabins, designed by Pininfarina, renowned for its work on marques such as Ferrari and Maserati, will be fitted with seats inspired by car manufacture and huge panoramic windows. The lift will convey visitors to the Matterhorn glacier paradise in nine minutes. The new cableway is set to start operations in the winter of 2018/19, bringing a significant improvement to the connection between the skiing areas in Switzerland and Italy. The 3S gondola lift will complement the existing cableway and increase the carrying capacity by 2000 passengers per hour. The dual connection to the Matterhorn glacier paradise station will also ensure cableway services all year round.
3S system and drive technique
DirectDrive, offered exclusively by LEITNER ropeways, can be employed here as the primary drive, providing lower noise and less wear. The 3S system can use up to two drive sheaves. If required, an independent drive can be installed for both drive sheaves. This is also the case for the emergency/evacuation drive. This redundant design increases the availability as well as safety of the entire system.

No es un telecabina , sinó un teleférico desembragable 3S ( tricable) , el mas grande del mundo (a nivel de capacidad de número de esquiadores por hora )
¿ Cuántos hay en el mundo ya ? ¿ 9 , 10 ?
Como en muchas estaciones han apostado por este tipo de remonte al ser el más funcional de todos , ya hemos perdido la cuenta de cuantos hay
Lo del mirador ¿lo decís por ser suizos? , como te crujen vivo con todo estos cabrones ... ( recuerdo pagar 80 € por forfait de día en Saas Fee )

Suiza no es sólo Zermatt, Verbier o St. Moritz. Hay muchos sitios absolutamente comparables en cuanto a precio con otros destinos ya sean de Francia o de Austria. Diablerets, Nendaz, Veyssonaz, Laax, Engelberg...... son sitios muy muy parejos a lo que pueda ser una estación francesa. Que las cervezas son caras, pues depende. Para mi es caro que te claven 7 € por una coca cola o 12 € por una copa en cualquier discoteca patria y con todos mis respetos que nadie me compare un entorno y otro.
EL problema muchas veces es el ideario colectivo. Ni todo en Suiza es caro, ni todos los apartamentos de Francia son pequeños, ni todos los italianos son golfos, ni todos los Hüttes de Austria son el cielo. Quizá haya que huir un poco de los estereotipos, que ojo tienen su razón de ser y su origen. Muchos sitios de Suiza son caros, muchos apartamentos de francia son zulos, muchos italianos son golfos y muchos Hüttes son la leche. Al final lo de siempre, la generalización que no es buena.
