In the autumn of 1900 a group of skiers left Moscow Skiers Club to form a new sport society. In June 26, 1901 the Charter of the Ski Sport Amateurs Society (abbreviated as OLLS in Russian) was approved.
En los estatutos constaba lo siguiente: “El objetivo de la sociedad es fomentar la practica del esqui como forma saludable, agradable y practica de desplazarse sobre la nieve y de unir a los aficcionados del deporte.
Para alcanzar este objetivo, la sociedad podrá:
a)Crear sus proprias instalaciones para el esqui (estaciones) y proveer a sus miembros de esquis y equipos;
b)Formar profesores para la enseñanza del esqui;
c)Organizar paseos y competiciones;
d)Organizar fiestas musicales, bailes y otras actividades ludicas;”
En esas fechas, las mujeres y los menores no podian ser miembros de la Sociedad, solo podian participar en las actividades como invitados.
The Charter, namely, stated as follows: "The aim of the Society is to proliferate usage of skis as healthy, pleasant and practical mode of moving across the snow and to unite the fans of this sports.
For the purpose of attaining above goals the Society is entitled:
a) to arrange its own facilities for skiing (stations) and to provide for the members skis with equipment;
b) to retain teachers to teach skiing;
c) to arrange for walks and competitions;
d) to arrange for music and dancing parties and other lawful entertainment".
By that time, female and under age persons couldn´t be qualified for membership in the Society, they could only be invited as guests.
Ademas del esqui,en la OLLS se praticaba el boxeo, el atletismo y el patinaje de velocidad.
Besides skiing, the OLLS cultivated boxing, track and field athletics and speed skating.
La sección de futbol de la OLLS fue creada en 1911.
The Football section at the OLLS was formed in 1911.
La Sociedad cambió su nombre a IPPV,CDKA, CDSA, CSK MO y, en 1960, paso a llamarse CSKA (Club Central de Deportes del Ejército) que es el actual nombre del mas popular y famoso club de futbol de Rusia.
The society´s name changed to IPPV,CDKA, CDSA, CSK MO and, in 1960, to CSKA (Central Sports Club of Army), which is the present name of the most popular an famous football club in Russia.
