El equipo de Oxford incluía a dos Noruegos: Tor Klaveness y C. Stang. Que solicitaron y obtuvieron del Jurado, que se ampliara el trazado subiendo la puerta de salida.
Tor Klaveness fue el vencedor con un tiempo de 30 minutos, tres menos que su compatriota Stang que fue segundo, Leonard Dobbs (capitán del equipo de Cambridge) fue tercero. Una fácil victoria para Oxford..
En Enero de 1925, Oxford obtuvo la que quizás sea la victoria mas aplastante en la historia de la Oxford-Cambridge ski race, puesto que el ultimo de los corredores de Oxford, aventajo por mas de un minuto y medio al primero de los corredores del equipo de Cambridge.
El vencedor individual de esa edición fue Christopher Mackintosh.
Actualmente se sigue celebrando la Oxford-Cambridge Ski Race, pero más por conservar la tradición, que por un espíritu de competición dentro del marco del viaje anual, que organizan conjuntamente, los clubs de ski y snowboard de ambas universidades a distintas estaciones de esquí del mundo.

Oxford vs Cambridge Ski Race
On the 2nd January 1922, following the sporting tradition of challenge between both universities, the first ski competition was held in Wengen, Switzerland, were Oxford and Cambridge competed against each other.The Oxford team included two Norwegians, Tor Klaveness and C. Stang, who convinced the jury to enlarge the ski track setting the starting point higher in the slope.
The winner was Klaveness, with a time of 30 minutes, 3 minutes less than Stang, who finished second. Leonard Dobbs, captain of the team, was third. It was an easy victory for Oxford.
In January 1925 Oxford conquered its most overwhelming victory in the history of the Oxford-Cambridge Ski Race. The last Oxford skier was more than one minute and a half ahead of the first Cambridge skier.
The individual winner that year was Christopher Mackintosh.
Nowadays, the Oxford-Cambridge Ski Race is still held year after year, more on behalf of tradition than of a sporting spirit. It takes place within the framework of the annual trip that the ski and snowboard clubs of both universities make to different ski resorts around the world.
