The Swiss ski resort of Rigi is located in one of those idyllic places were we all would like to ski some day.

El acceso a la cima de esta montaña, actualmente se puede hacer en tren o funicular, pero el primer medio mecanico fue el tren.
Nowadays you can reach the peak of this mountain by train or funicular, though the first transportation was a train.

Pero no fue hasta 1968 cuando se inauguro el Funicular de Weggis - Rigi Kaltbad.
Later on, in 1968, the Weggis-Rigi Kaltbad funicular was inaugurated.
Aunque siempre existio la posibilidad de subir andando, claro!.
Though one could always go by foot, of course!
