nnapurna Sanctuary Trek

The trek into the area below the massive south face of Annapurna - known as the Annapurna Sanctuary - is one of the most popular treks in Nepal. The trek begins in Pokhara and leads up through the breathtaking Modi Khola gorge into the vast mountain ringed amphitheatre of the Sanctuary.


As we trek through bamboo and rhododendron forests we have superb views of the Annapurna range. We eventually pass between the mountains of Machhapuchhre and Hiunchuli which guard the entrance to the Sanctuary, and after 6 days reach our goal, the high glacial basin that is the site of the Annapurna south face base camp. This is a classic trek, which allows access to the high mountains of the Himalaya within a reasonable timeframe and with a maximum altitude of 4000m. Accommodation and food is provided in the local lodges. Transport to Pokhara is by private coach. This trek ends in Pokhara.

Day 01: Fly/ drive Kathmandu to Pokhara.
Day 02:Drive to Nayapul,Trek to Tikhedhunga (1540)
Day 03: Trek to Ghorepani (2855m)
Day 04: Trek to Tadapani.(2590m)
Day 05: Trek to Chomrong (2170m)
Day 06: Trek to Himalaya Hotel (2900m)
Day 07: Himalaya Hotel to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC) (3700m)
Day 08: MBC -Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) & back to MBC or Deurali.
Day 09: MBC/Deurali to Bamboo (2500m)
Day 10: Bamboo to Chomorong. (2170m)
Day 11: Chomorong to Ghandruk (1940m)
Day 12: Ghandruk to Tolkha. (1710m)
Day 13: Tolkha to Dhampus. (1510m)

He visto las fotos, impresionantes!
Somos unos amigos y queremos ir del 11 al 24 de setiembre a nuestro aire pero tendremos que coger un sherpa creo? Podeis recomendarme donde coger un sherpa guia, cuanto cuesta para 10 dias mas o menos y donde quedarnos en el camino? Nos gustaria quedar a dormir en casa de la gente y cenar con ellos. Os agradezco mucho vuestra informacion para ir preparando el viaje poco a poco. Llegaremos a Khatmandu y desde alli, como empezamos? Muchas gracias.
