Eduardo Roldán ha sido elegido nuevo miembro del consejo directivo de la FIS
En el 45 Congreso Internacional de la Federación Internacional de Esquí, que se celebra en Villamoura/Algarbe (Portugal) se ha tomado la decisión de Nombrar entre sus dieciséis miembros del Consejo FIS al Presidente de la Real Federación Española de Deportes de Invierno y director de la estación invernal de Candanchú D. Eduardo Roldán..
En el 45 Congreso Internacional de la Federación Internacional de Esquí, que se celebra en Villamoura Algarbe (Portugal) se ha tomado la decisión de Nombrar entre sus dieciséis miembros del Consejo FIS al Presidente de la Real Federación Española de Deportes de Invierno y director de la estación invernal de Candanchú D. Eduardo Roldán. Es la primara vez que un español ocupa dicho puesto prominente en la directiva de dicho Organismo.Si bien era conocida la posibilidad, realmente ha supuesto una gran sorpresa para los representantes españoles en dicho congreso.
Asimismo ha sido reelegido el actual presidente D. Gian-Franco Kasper como Presidente de la FIS, quedando configurado el Cosejo de la siguiente forma:

Oberhofen, May 29th, 2006 -- The 45th International Ski Congress has concluded successfully in Vilamoura (POR). In its first meeting following election at the General Assembly on Friday, May 26th, the new FIS Council elected the vice presidents and treasurer, and appointed the chairmen and members of the FIS Committees for the upcoming two-year period (2006-2008). The 46th International Ski Congress will take place in Cape Town (RSA) in the spring of 2008.
