Esquiar en Michigan

The best area in the Lower Peninsula. Nub's promotes itself as having "The Midwest's best snow," and they're not stretching the truth. As a whole, the runs are not quite as challenging as some areas, but there are enough tricky areas to keep you on your toes. Runs like Chute, Smokey, and Scarface definitely fall in this category. There are some beautiful tree-lined blues (S.W. Passage, Bayview, Gator's Alley, and all of Pintail Peak, just to name a few). Just remember to keep your eyes on the trail and not the scenery, and you'll be fine. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Only Crystal Mountain in Thompsonville beats Nub's in this category. All of the above reasons are why I come back to Nub's every season.
